What is Smooth Roaming?

The ThinIdentity solution allows caregivers to “smooth-roam” throughout the hospital and access their desktop within seconds. For example, a nurse needs to check on a patient. She logs off her Sun Ray terminal at the nurses’ station by simply removing her smart card – instantly readying the terminal for the next user while securing her session. Upon arrival in the patient room, she easily inserts her card into the Sun Ray terminal, enters her password, and has access to her desktop just the way she left it at the nurse’s station in just a few seconds.
